I haven’t been to flying biscuit in a while and I decided to go there for breakfast with my husband. The restaurant was very busy and it was a thirty-five minute wait for a party of two. I didn’t mind the wait. If a restaurant is busy then they’re doing something right. I ordered the “oh my grits” bowl. It’s a grit bowl that is customizable. My bowl consisted of shrimp, bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, & cheddar cheese. This was the best grit bowl I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection. The biscuits are always amazing. I love that a complimentary biscuit comes with every meal. The facility seemed clean and organized which I love.
Me and my two girlfriends went to the spot on a Saturday afternoon because we were starving. We were out shopping but we had to stop and eat and thought about this place.
I have been in Atlanta 16 years I had never been to Flying Biscuit although I knew about it. It was busy as I expected it to be which made me believe that the food was good. We had to wait for a table but that was fine we went over to Dollar tree across the parking lot and shopped.
They actually paged us before the time frame that they gave us. We sat down immediately had mimosas. So good. The food took a minute to come out but when it did, we smashed it! I had bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, stuffed French toast and a biscuit. The potatoes and the grits oh my word. The grits were so creamy and not lumpy. It's hard to find a restaurant that can make good grits. We were so full afterwards.
This was a hit for me.
I was mislead by Google, but after a phone call to the restaurant, I was back on track. It's at McDuff parkway.
I came to have a good meal of biscuits and gravy and I was not disappointed.
I felt like Paul Hollywood tasting the bake quality and flavor. It was excellent! I tried the biscuit alone, then with the honey butter, and then the gravy. A superior biscuit!
The quality of sausage was very good and it was what I would eat at home. Nitrate free 🙏🏼
The area has a lot of parking and a wheelchair entrance and ADA compliant bathroom for those in need.
Highchairs and a bar to eat at for those who want that. I am short (5'3" and the stools at the bar were higher than I like, at 60 years)
I appreciate the decor, friendly owner and helpful staff. If I were staying in Peachtree, I'd apply for a job there.
Thank you Peachtree for a great meal and helpful staff.
The best grits I ever had!!! The grits were so smooth, creamy, & fluffy. You can’t go wrong here on whatever you decide to order, literally everything was so good!! Valet parking available up front for free but tips are highly encouraged. Very family friendly and we love that.
