Lafferty Animal Clinic

I LOVE this place and so do our animals. Dr. Lafferty, Dr. Bowes, and Shane are always so kind and we had a dog who had an injury and Shane and Dr. Bowes were so empathetic and kind and I’m super thankful for them. The lady who helped assist with her stitches removal was also wonderful and she was very calming for our dog during her stitch removal process. I’ve also had some other excellent interactions with other staff from past visits. Can’t remember all the names but I’ve had a good experience with every single person there. So thankful for this team!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! They really care about the patient and their pet. We told Dr. Lafferty about our awful experience at VEG, where we were charged $3,440 for 15 hours of care, and saw no results of improvement. Our puppy was given to us even sicker than before. Lesson learned: get insurance ASAP!

Dr. Lafferty and his team were very empathetic and told us that if Roco didn’t show any signs of improvement, they’d show us how to do his procedure at home, so we didn’t face any other exorbitant bills.

The same day we took Roco to Lafferty, he had solid stool by midnight, ate a good portion of his food, was drinking water on his own, and went back to playing with us as the happy dog he is. He stayed at Lafferty from 9-5pm, and we only paid $715, including an abdominal ultrasound. The next morning, he woke up eager to play and see his friends in addition to finishing all his regular food. It was like a miracle! 🙏

Dr. Lafferty and his crew are very caring about each furry family member. I have yet to experience anything negative from a visit! They sincerely want me to have a great experience. They listen to my questions and give me truthful answers, Explaining pro's and con's for treatments etc.
For anyone with indoor/outdoor cats, just call them to make them aware that you can't always "plan" when you can catch your cat and they can work you into the schedule if you need to drop off your baby.
The whole place is happy and personable. I've been taking my pets here for 21 years.

Having been in for a couple of visits now, I see why Lafferty came so highly recommended on Nextdoor (where I originally heard about them). For starters, the staff clearly care about making my pet's visit as comfortable as possible.

Something that I think really distinguishes Lafferty is that they treat me like a competent member of my pet's care team. They offer solutions and answer my questions without judgement. They know a ton from their years of schooling, and I know the intricacies of my pet + the general stance I take on her care. I love that they appreciate that I'm an active participant in the relationship. As a result, I fully trust that my pet receives the best possible care.

If you're searching for an incredible veterinarian clinic, look no further. This team is detailed oriented, caring, and overall just the best. Everyone I have met is very considerate and kind. I'm so glad I found Dr. Lafferty and Dr. Bowes. With their expertise and care, my sick kittens were able to make a full recovery. I highly recommend and will always bring my fur babies here.
