Nice place for a trail ride. My first time at here and I think has to be my favorite place for a short walk every day.

I'm cracking up that this park is too full of forest area for someone. The park has a paved pathway that is at least ten feet wide. There is a well marked trail that goes through the woods as well. A nice, easy hike for a 3 year old on both trails. I loved it! We saw ducks, geese, and turtles.

Nice basic nature walking park consisting of a blue loop and red loop trail. I estimate about 2 miles to walk both. Trails are well marked and easy to navigate. The blue trail goes around an old quarry and over a creek with small waterfalls. The red trail takes you down to a fishing lake. Only amenities at this time are a porta potty in the parking lot, some trash cans and benches along the trails.

Update November 2021: An upgraded Providence Park reopened. Two new features added include an 8ft wide ADA trail that leads down to Providence Lake and a beautiful designed 500ft fishing pier and pavilion over Providence Lake.

Nice park with two different nature trails: a Red trail and Blue trail. The red trail goes up to and has views of nearby Lake Providence. The two trails also have some branches that go off them in different directions, and it is somewhat easy to get turned around if you don't pay attention. Had to use my GPS on my phone a time or two to figure out where I was at.

Providence Park is located off Providence Road near the Alpharetta/Milton City Limit Line. The park was reopened in 2016 by the city of Milton. Overall, I enjoyed my time at this park as it was not crowded and was quiet. I did run into a few people.

The park consists of two trails (red and blue trail). The blue trail will guide you through hilly terrain, a small amphitheater, and eventually will intersect with the Red Trail at Lake Providence. My favorite part of this park was the view of the lake. There is a slight opening off of the trail where the lake is completely visible. The red trail takes you past the lake, through hilly terrain, and eventually back to the entrance.

As for amenities, the park has sufficient room for parking. The park is strictly for hiking. There is not a playground, baseball field etc. If you are looking for these things, I recommend Bell Memorial Park. There are also trash cans located at the entrance of the park and near the cabin. I would like to see more trash cans placed throughout the trails to ensure the park remains clean. Also, this park contains plenty of benches to sit down at during a hike. There are also picnic tables located on the red trail near the entrance.

What I did not like about this park is the state of the cabin. The cabin has a great amount of graphitti that is not appropriate. It would be nice if the city would refurbish this cabin to be used for outdoor activities or something to that effect. Also, I think that more signs need to be added to the park to allow people to know that they are still in the park.

Overall, I would highly recommend this park if you are an outdoor enthusiast looking for an adventure. However, I would not recommend this park if you are looking to take the family on an outing.
