  To preface, I have shoulder length curly hair that hasn't been trimmed or cut in 2 years prior to my visit. Brian was so attentive to my hair, first he examined my hair to assess what it needs, then it was off for a super relaxing shampoo and condition. After that, he began to comb my hair out, which had a TON of tangles that he ever so gently combed out, I hardly felt them getting detailed! During the cutting portion I honestly left it up to him how to best stylize my hair, he suggested layering in the back to help break up my thick unruly hair, I accepted with gusto. Lastly after the cut, he put some curling cream in my hair and defused it and presto! No more split ends and fly-away hairs for me! I absolutely LOVE what he did with my hair, I highly highly recommend Brian to anyone and everyone that is willing to listen to me!

  Been twice so far, serviced by Brian both times.
  
  Got a straight perm my first visit. The most expensive I've had, but good quality.
  
  Got a cut (>8 inches?) the second visit. Affordable price, same good quality. Gave Brian free reign over the hairstyle and left with one I'd neither desired nor considered. I've received many unsolicited compliments on the cut.
  
  Brian himself has a pleasant personality and seems to put much care into his work. He certainly does his best, and he does well.
  
  Would go again.

  Brian is skilled with the scissors and personal in his business. He asks for clients to make reservations through text, but even through the typed words, you can feel his warmth and welcoming. The cuts are always even, and my hair feels so soft whenever I'm done. The pricing is pretty fair: $40 for a cut and dry. If you pay in cash, he gives you a discount, so go and save a few bucks. ^^

  UPDATED REVIEW (1/3/22): Got my hair permed by Brian back over the summer. Came back to get it cut short and permed again, and the results were exactly what I wanted! My hair feels healthy and the perm is the exact style I wanted.
  
  I was feeling kind of tired and was not super energetic coming into the appointment, and Brian sensed that and didn’t pressure me to talk too much and even put on some relaxing music.
  
  Would highly recommend!!
  
  Brian was super nice and was able to schedule me 2 days after I texted about an appointment. Went in for my first digital perm and was so pleasantly surprised by the results! My hair looks great and feels so healthy!
  
  The lady who helped shampoo and assisted with the perm (I didn’t get her name) was also so sweet. Will definitely go back the next time I’m in town :)

  Brian is the best. I’ve been coming to him for several years now and he never let me down. He makes the best color!!!
