I started my lessons in January of 2022, and am already extremely happy with my results! Dylan is an awesome teacher, with just enough, but not too much, of pushing you outside of your comfort zone. He teaches in a way that classes are not constantly the same, and never boring. As a matter of fact an hour goes by so quick, you’ll not believe it. I searched a lot of places before making my decision, and couldn’t be happier with Dylan Andrews at Summit School of Guitar!!

Taking lessons from Dylan has been a great experience. He is very patient and understands how to be a good teacher, not just a guitar player. That was very important for me since I’d taken lessons before from others who were not necessarily teachers. Because of that, it helped me progress much faster. He’s organized and thorough. I’ve really enjoyed it!

I have been taking lessons from Dylan for around two years, and I have noticed great improvement in every area of my playing, especially my knowledge of music theory. These lessons are professionally structured and expertly presented, leveraging a process-driven approach to make complicated accomplishments more simple. I recommend taking lessons with Dylan if you want to improve your guitar playing skills.

    Fantastic Guitar Lesson Experience!

I have always wanted to learn guitar, especially electric guitar. I had tried teaching myself with some online courses, but there was no live interaction and quickly lost interest as I just didn't see the progress or the motivation.

I did not want to give up on this dream and after some searching, I found Dylan Andrews! I have now been taking lessons for the past 6 months and have loved it! In person training has definitely been beneficial for me. In this day of online everything, I truly appreciate the in-person live experience.

The format of the classes are structured, yet informal, and always a good time. Dylan is excellent at teaching the practical aspects of playing the guitar and he intersperses music theory as needed to understand the concepts. He is able to motivate students to improve their playing. It sounds hard to believe, but after an hour lesson, I definitely walk out feeling like I accomplished something and playing better than when I walked in. Mastery of the guitar will take me some time, but the incremental progress gives me hope!
I would unreservedly recommend Dylan Andrews and Summit School of Guitar to anyone wanting to learn guitar.

My 10 year old daughter has taken lessons with Dylan for the past six months. I'm pleased with her experience. Dylan understands both how to teach younger students and how to keep them engaged. He's a thoughtful teacher who always seems to be searching for a better way to convey an important teaching point or concept. Most importantly, my daughter is excited to attend lessons; Dylan is approachable. It's important to remember that every student is different and no teacher makes up for a lack of student effort. But I would recommend Dylan to anyone who is interested in playing guitar well.
