The Family Tree Garden Center

Decided to buy our Christmas tree here this year. Their prices were no different than the big boxed retailers yet they have the trees displayed so nicely where you can appreciate all sides of the tree. This definitely makes it easier to pick “the one” for your home. They got this process down to a science, once you pay, they take your tree, trim some pieces if ya want and wrap it up. You drive your car around and they load it up. I have also shopped here before for plants and they have an excellent variety to choose from and knowledgeable staff.

I really like the organization of this place. The indoor plants are in a different section from outdoor. And the indoor is organized with sections like low light, which was very helpful for me. These sections and the info labels saved me from googling every plant. The only thing I would add to the info is pet friendly. Overall, nice selection of plants and pots and everything you need.

Came here last week looking for flowers to landscape my yard, I had the most wonderful experience with Chris. Chris knows everything about plants, flowers, shrubs, everything in FTGC. I bought the most amazing looking Hydrangeas and hostas, and much more because of him. Not only that, poor thing was using a leg scooter and still was super nice and followed me all over the nursery.

Large selection of plants. Some might find it pricey, but their stock seems to be high quality. Staff are friendly and helpful. Displays are a great way to get ideas for your own plants.

Thank you from my family to yours for making my proposal so unbelievably dashing and unique. My partner knows how much I love plants, and this year she bought everything needed for us to make a terrarium together. A terrarium is something that I have wanted for quite a while now. I got home and she had gotten everything we needed (including the vase) from The Family Tree Garden Center so that we could relax and enjoy time together. We quickly hopped to it and spent about an hour putting thought into our design, and then constructing it. After we had completed building it she says, “I also got these cute little things to add to it!” (It was a mushroom and a seed pod- both pictured in the photos I've added). I grabbed the mushroom and put it in the center and at first I wasn’t happy with the way it sat, so I turned it around.........and BLAM! The most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen sat hugged inside of the mushroom. It was so unexpected that I immediately started crying as I was overcome with emotion. The thought that went into everything was so.......perfect.

The stone is a moss agate, snuggled with diamonds, and wrapped in ROSE gold (the plant theme just keeps on going if you haven't noticed).
The stone is a tribute to my love and passion for plants, and the diamonds were my partners personal touch because she said that they reminded her of leaves; and of course the ROSE gold. I couldn’t be happier! We are local to the area and will continue to come back so that we may continue to add to our home.
