The Surf Bus - North Shore Activities Tour

Awesome time! As soon as Kevin welcomed us onto the bus, I knew.we were going to click. When he introduced himself as our “Uncle Kevin” we all knew we were in for a fun, unique tour.
His knowledge of the island, tidbits that only locals could know, and great sense of humor made this a truly remarkable trip. He went out of his way to appease, and his dining, snacking, and bar recommendations were spot on.
When the tour was over, I hadn’t met a tour guide, I had made a friend.

If you have a day in Oahu to get to know the North Shore, I highly recommend this tour! Uncle Kevin was absolutely spot-on with his recommendations and extremely knowledgeable about the island he’s called home for all of his life.

We enjoyed snorkeling in shark’s cove, eating the lunch Uncle Kevin recommended (delicious!) and kayaking with the sea turtles—just where we were told we would find them. The whole day was simply magical. We are truly grateful for an active, beautiful day in paradise!

Uncle Kevin was the best tour guide I've had on the island. Great attitude, funny and witty and extremely knowledgeable! The surf bus itself was awesome. Learned to surf. Snorkeled with some of the most beautiful fish I've ever seen rainbow colored. DONT SKIP SHARK COVE SNORKELING. I was the only one on my trip that chose to snorkel out of 20 because it was raining and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Saw some turtles too 🐢

I cannot fully express how much I loved touring with this company to explore the North Shore. Our tour guide Uncle Kevin was the absolute best! Please request him if possible. He educated us on so many things on the way. He made the ride there so fun and he goes out of his way to make you feel welcome in Hawaii. We got to stop for some free Kona coffee and macadamia nut samples, had the best banana nut bread and fresh papaya, saw the beautiful Waimea Falls, the botanical gardens, eat, kayak and shop. But there are many more options for activities to choose from. We even accidently left behind our shoes in the bus and Kevin went out of his way to return them. Made us feel like family, not tourists. My fianceé and I will definitely be back!

We did the north shore tour with Kevin. We had an amazing time and Kevin made sure to inform and keep us entertained during the trip. These are some pics from the pipeline three tables and the beach. Definitely worth the trip and the tour if your looking for something to do for the day!!
