  The whole team of doulas at Best Birth are absolutely amazing! Each one of them is so passionate about supporting new moms and helping them to have a better birth and postpartum experience. I had Rosi for my birth doula and she was such an important part of me having a better birth experience than I did with my first baby. She supported me both physically and mentally throughout my entire labor and I really feel like I can’t imagine not having her there. I loved that she was there for me to support me and my husband’s needs no matter what happened. Rosi and Keahu also helped me in the postpartum period when I was really struggling with postpartum anxiety and depression and my family and I needed extra help getting some sleep. They each came for a few nights and took care of my daughter in between feedings so that I could allow myself to rest in those early weeks. It made a tremendous difference when I was really struggling and I am so thankful to have had two wonderful doulas that I could lean on for support and fully trust with my daughter. I truly believe everyone needs a doula no matter what type of birth experience you have or are hoping to have, and postpartum it can make a critical difference in feeling supported as a new mom.   Katja is awesome! I am a first time mom with a one week old baby. Katja made capsules out of my placenta. She met up with me a couple days after my discharge to drop them off. Not only did she drop off the capsules, but she went the extra mile and talked to me about breast feeding. She has sent me links and information to address my concerns on vaccinations,
  breast feeding, etc. She has really went above and beyond my expectations :) Mahalo!

  We took the six session birthing class and it was amazing! Katja is an incredible teacher and we felt so prepared and advocates for our birth. Katja was so generous with her time and even stayed late while my wife was having contractions during the last class and went through some amazing exercises with us. I would recommend this class and Katja as a doula to everyone, seriously couldn’t have had a better experience. I felt so much more prepped as a support partner and my wife delivered all natural 1 day after our last class talk about perfect timing. Thanks for everything Katja!

  People here are amazing. My wife wanted placenta encapsulation. We talked to Katja - she explained the process - price was reasonable and able to pay in different formats - process very easy - personalized service - turn around time was less than 24 hours from time placenta was picked up to delivery of capsules - Katja explained other aspects and resources available for mother baby - just a great experience highly recommended .
