Hawaii Polo Oceanfront Trail Rides

We were there two days ago and it was rainy so hard that the traffic was so bad. The time we scheduled was supposed to be leaving at 5pm. When we arrived, Julian arranged the appropriate horses (we all know it was a bad weather and horses can be not feeling like to work some days). She was very patient and taught us how to control the horses before we leave. It was interesting to know each horse has different personalities and they could be “like middle schools” to take care of.
We were not expecting to have the whole riding trail anyways as we arrived later than expected, but Julian brought us to the seaside to take photos before it got dark. And we did finish the whole trip. I love the way how the whole team was flexible enough to take us to the whole trip and work closely to make it work for us. Definitely a yes, I’d come back again. 🤗

Nice and relaxing trial ride along the beach. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. They stopped to take pictures for the riders and did not charge extra. The great views helped make it that much more memorable as well.
Highly recommend if you want a chance to ride horses on a beach in Hawaii!

Absolutely beautiful land and good gorgeous semi private beach to ride through. This was such a joy. Alyssa really made our experience! She was super friendly, relaxed with us, clearly had good knowledge of the horses we were riding.
The sunset private tour is the way to go. So nice to be alone without others and just have our own time and peace and quiet and not have to possibly have issues or setbacks of other riders. Makes it just feel more freeing than trotting behind ten people or having to wait for people to catch up or stop and check on everyone.
Alyssa was super fun to talk to with a great personality. I could see myself being friends with her. She was just awesomglshots, couples shots, and really took her time to make us feel special and enjoy the ride. She was knowledgeable about surrounding areas in terms of beaches, other tours, food, etc.
This was my boyfriends birthday gift and he was very happy with the experience.
Yes you cannot go into the ocean on these rides but you get as close as you can and it was lovely. Very relaxing hearing the waves on your ride. The moon was beautiful over the trees, fun to oversee a polo practice happening, sunset was spectacular. We got to see some retired horses relaxing and grazing in beautiful fields. The whole thing was awesome. The horse I road was named Ike and he was such a mellow and sweet boy. Fun giving the horses treats after. We kindly tipped our lovely tour guide at the end and tipped our horses. Leave reviews for your tour guides! They deserve it! :)

Absolutely fantastic. Alyssa is hands down the best horse-riding guide we have ever had the privilege of spending an afternoon with!

She was engaging and thoughtful with my eight-year-old, knowledgeable, and all around a bright and lovely person.

She even took the extra time to take some family photos for us. We were so grateful to her. She really made the entire experience so wonderful, fun and truly memorable.

Definitely request Alyssa if you visit the Hawaii Polo rides!

The ride was very fun. The views were absolutely amazing. Our guide Jillian was very sweet and friendly. She was knowledgeable and provided us insights in the local area. The manager, or at least the person whom was bossing everyone around was incredibly rude to the staff as well as visitors. She was only concerned with the polo games. She seemed to treat the trail rides as something in the way of her desired activity. The horses were well-maintained and cleaned and if you can avoid the manager, we highly recommend this activity.
