*ADULT ONLY REVIEW* A magical wonderland of screaming children accompanied with distracted jaded parents too busy to pay attention to their ungrateful kids. If you come early enough in the day, you might get a common spotting of tweakers leaving their nest, a truly majestic amalgamation of purgatory and Gary, Indiana. A must visit before jumping into a pit of used syringes.
Great park in a neat neighborhood. I have noth bad to say about it but I do have one minor suggestion and it's nothing more than a suggestion. Maybe add a little more time to the motion sensor in the bathrooms. It's crazy how fast that was. And that doesn't take away from how great the park is.
Too bad Boise Parks and Rec didn't check the quality of the volleyball sand before they signed off on it. It's full of dust and nearly unplayable. Everything else about this park is pure heaven. Mature trees, grassy fields, basketball courts, tennis and pickle ball court. Picnic structure is shady and huge to accommodate multiple medium sized groups or a larger community event. Playground is modern and new with rubber safety ground cover.
Very clean park. They have newer play equipment for kids, basketball courts and a ton of open field for activities. Only one area to rent for parties or other gatherings, but generally it's enough for a good chunk of people.
This is a nice little hidden gem of the area. My spouse and I lived close by for several months before stumbling upon it one day. Great playground, great picnic area. Some tennis courts and basketball courts.
