Have been going for greater than 15years. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, doctor is patient and answers questions. However, expect to spend time waiting to be seen and then waiting for the doctor. Could be my luck, but i am often left waiting for the doctor. Their frame selection is good.

My family has been going to Eastgate Optical and Dr. Winbigler for years. He and his staff have always been very professional and helpful and we always see the same faces which speaks volumes.
Our exams are always very thorough and any questions are answered on a level I can understand.
The last time I was in was a bit of an emergency in that I had a small sliver of wood in my eye. I can't thank Dr. Winbigler enough for getting me in, taken care of, and for the follow ups.

First time customer. Great experience. My appointment happened to be on a day that the doc was sick, so they texted and called, leaving a voicemail. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, the doc walked me through what he saw in the eye scan, explained my options for progressives, computer glasses, etc.

I had seen a review complaining that someone was charged for a particular type of scan; I didn't have that experience, at least 3 people made sure I knew how much it would cost to have a particular kind of scan. Since it took the place of having my eyes dilated, I was all in.

I love how insurance doesn't cover a scan which is painless and fast, but sure it covers dilating my pupils, which ruins my vision for 8 hours, which puts me out of work for a day.

Thank goodness for my health savings account, because it was a spendy visit, but I don't feel they're out of line with their competitors. Plus my new glasses are the bomb and arrived fast.

Been to several other doctors with just okay results. They diagnosed my astigmatism when no one else did. They also helped work with my insurance to make sure they would give me the best lenses. The ladies at the front, ladies in the back, and Dr. Winbigler are amazing and have restored my faith in this profession! This is the first time I've had perfect vision in my whole life, I never thought it was possible.
