  We were looking for a church that teaches sound doctrine from the Bible first and foremost. Plusses would be a congregation that isn't all in their 20's or all in their 90's but a range of ages from 0 to 100+. We wanted a church that is passionate about Jesus and carrying out the great commission, i.e. mission minded. A good worship band is a nicety but not a necessity. We have found all of the above and more at The Rock Church. We were greeted before we got in the door and while we had arrived early, got so caught up in meeting people, we thought we might be late for the sermon. Worship was amazing. They play contemporary songs, but some are older contemporary...we knew all but one song and loved singing them all. This church teaches topically rather than book by book which we were used to in our last church, but Pastor Shawn knocked it out of the park with his first sermon (of the series) on corporate prayer today. By the end I was quite convicted (not guilted) and honestly wished he'd just keep teaching. I'd say we can't wait until next Sunday, but we don't have to, as they also have small groups and prayer meetings throughout the week so we'll be checking those out in the coming days. In summary, I'd say we (my wife and I) highly recommend this church to anyone looking for the above.

  A great place every one is nice i started going here about 2 monthes ago and its one of the best churches ive been to.

  Excellent church for families and individuals, with a contemporary style and a very friendly environment. Would recommend to anyone!
