  Trigger thumb visit. Dr Metz was quick and thorough. He has a great personality and I could tell his staff loves working there.

  Dr. Metz was the 4th specialist I saw in regards to a pain in my hand/wrist that everyone else diagnosed as carpal tunnel. He was the one that figured out it was not carpal tunnel but Pronator's syndrome instead. He provided injections and after those were no longer working recommended surgery. 2 months after the surgery and I was able to finally do things I couldn't do before. PT was right above his office and it was very convenient and the staff were flexible.

  First of all, I would like to share that I have been a registered surgical nurse for >25 years. I have worked side by side with many surgeons (orthopedic as well as other specialties). I met Dr. Metz a few years ago while working and was immediately impressed! He is professional and confident in his ability as a hand surgeon, but maintains a personal touch with all his patients. He is caring and compassionate and kind to all (patients as well as nurses) and has the ability to communicate well to his patients and family. Most important, he is a great surgeon!!
  I recently chose Dr. Metz to perform endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery on me and from the first consultation to my final post op visit I was nothing less than totally impressed with his compassion, expertise, and thoughtfulness of care.
  If you are looking for an outstanding orthopedic hand surgeon, Dr. Metz is that surgeon.

  Office wait was minimal and the front was helpful. Dr. Metz explained everything clearly and made me feel very comfortable. I was back to my old self in no time. Would highly recommend.
