Great neighborhood meeting center. Lots for kids to do
Nice fruit and vegetables. I wished some of the fruit I liked was in seasoned.
Veggies are good. Spices are great. Bread is marvelous. Tacos and corn in the cup when leaving... priceless. A pleasant day at the farmers market.???? cash and cards accepted.
Although all of the farmers are not in attendance yet, there are still plenty of vendors to buy from i.e., fresh eggs, honey, vegetable seedlings. There is face painting for the kiddies and fabulous coffee from AndySunflower Cafe, a black owned mobile coffee vendor. There will be more vendors as the summer progresses. Every Sunday, 8am to 1pm.
I love coming here. Great place to pick up some fresh food and the prices are NOT bad at all. Much cheaper than the grocery store. Always encounter pleasant and laid back vendors when I go on Sundays. Can't go wrong with corn or broccoli from any of the vendors here (shameless plug). The cheese guy is great...perfect place to try out new cheeses...he will do samples. Recommend the 4 year cheddar. I'd be amiss if I didn't say that you can get really good honey here too. Not a real fan of the vendors who prepare food there. Nothing bad to point out about them, I'd just rather see more vendors selling produce that cooking food. If there were more produce vendors, I'd give 5 stars without hesitation. Still, I recommend this market. Support the local farmers...
