    100 out of 5 stars. This place and Doug Malone are the cream of the crop. Passionate about the work, experienced at recording music of all kinds, rare and amazing vintage gear, kind and helpful. Such a great experience. I can't believe the sounds this place helped me create.

    JAMDEK is my favorite place to record in Chicago. The space and equipment are incredible (e.g. an awesome Farfisa). Super comfortable environment to work in, Doug is the best, and I love how our tracks sound.

JAMDEK features a Pro Tools/HD 2 Accel system with 24 channels of Apogee 192k I/O wired into a Quad Eight Ventura console. In addition to Pro Tools, the studio incorporates analog recording and a variety of instruments and equipment, all available for use during sessions.

With this change in ownership comes a new name, JAMDEK. Over the past year or two I have transitioned from doing primarily engineering work into more writing, producing and composing. I brought on Doug as studio manager last year to help administer day-to-day operations of MINBAL.
