  I love this area! It's so relaxing and you really don't feel like you're in the city at all. You can expect to see so much wildlife - I recommend bringing a pair of binoculars and have time to hangout so the animals will get used to you this will up your chances to see more creatures. There are plenty of sitting spots and a big dock with a bird chart so you can actually name the different types of birds that you spot.
  You will likely run into other people either fellow bird watchers, people out for a run, dogs on a walk or maybe a picnic. This is a great place for so many activities and good for clearing your head.

  This is a wonderful little nature sanctuary. I saw so many different kinds of birds in just a few minutes. There is a helpful guide to the different birds on the viewing platform on the easy side.

  One of the, if not the best places to appreciate nature in Chicago. Also a standing testament to the city's dedication to recognizing the errors of the past and make good on it's promise to provide it's citizens with clean space and a better environment.

  There is a great place to sit and watch the birds. Also tons of information on any bird you might see.
