Usually a good amount of dogs, with a mix of sides and temperaments. When the snow melts or it rains a lot water tends to pool at a point by the rocks — which is pretty gross when your dog runs through it and ends up smelling like a dog toilet.
Nice and LONG dog park for your dog to run or sprint around. There were 2 enclosed sections (for bigger and smaller dogs). No grass but my dog doesn’t really care about that.
Was searching for a dog park with pavement and not mud as our dog park at Horner Park is a disaster right now. It’s a simple area for dogs to play. Nothing fancy but my pup loved it and the people, and dogs, there were friendly.
This park is a great spot to bring your four legged friend. During the warmer months, there is running water and a small pool for cooling off. I was surprised at first when I saw there was no grass or dirt, however now that I've been coming here I actually prefer it! After rain or snow, there's no need to worry about your dog becoming muddy, and the small rocks make cleaning up after your dog extremely easy. If you have a very small dog, just be sure to watch them in some areas as gaps are starting to form in a few parts of the fence.
Great park! Usually a good crowd at 5:30 but always one or two dogs at least. In a nice part of the neighborhood. Some homeless set up usually near the entrance under the bridge but they're nice and usually just asleep never stop you to ask for money.
