An unforgettable experience. I have been to Shelby Campbell's Tavern and Grill Restaurant few times and never been disappointed. Food is delicious and authentic, beautiful ambience and excellent service makes everything taste better.
Went there to watch a world cup match. Bartender was very accommodating putting on the match. Of the 15 bar taps only 2 were working. Ordered a bowl of chili for an appetizer. It was way too sweet for my taste. The chicken fingers and fries was excellent. I will be back for another world cup match soon and will try something different.
***EDIT*** I went back today to watch the U.S. vs Iran world cup match and all the beer taps were working this time. Bartender was very accommodating and turned off the house music and turned up the tv so we could hear the match. I ordered the WILD HOG burger. I substituted onion straws for grilled onions and the burger was delicious. The beers were flowing and I'll def. be back.
Decent food! We had wings and nachos for appetizers, they had real cheese melted, not like the nachos cheese. I really don't like that type of cheese because it doesn't seem to run into the stack of chips, but whatever its nachos. Wings were pretty good, the peach bbq they had was interesting. The burgers looked to be the star of the show. The fries were very good, crispy and tasty. I had the fish tacos, they weren't too impressive. Someone also tried the chili and they said it was pretty dang good. Overall a pretty good place, nothing spectacular though. Thanks guys.
I had the Late Riser Burger and it surpassed my expectations!!! Food came out fast! Service was great. Meat came out medium well just like I asked. If you’re in the Elk Grove Village area, you should definitely check this place out!
