  I first went to First Step Foot Care after sustaining some workout related injuries. I saw Dr. Flood, who took the time to explain the injuries, the causes, a comprehensive treatment plan, and even some tips for avoiding future injuries. He and his staff were very friendly and provided the best care imaginable. In addition to Dr. Flood, I also dealt with Ashley and Sharon. They were also very friendly and helpful, and made every visit a great one. But wait ... there's more! They have a great system that makes scheduling & confirming appointments accurate and easy. Their automated billing system also makes it very easy to pay deductibles, etc. As reviews go, 5 stars is the max, but if this were a 100-point system, that would get a perfect rating on that or any other system!

  Dr. Alex McKanna rates 5 stars in every area of care: Very professional and has an outstanding "bedside manor". He shows true care and concern for his patient and takes as much time as needed to answer questions and concerns. He actually walked us out of the office, while holding the doors open for me, as I pushed my mother in her wheel chair.
  He truly goes above and beyond ..... He is exceptional!
  
  The staff is also very professional, accommodating, friendly and polite.

  I was about to begin the fire academy when I started having pain in my ankle when i was climbing stairs and even just walking around. I needed to get this issue resolved if i was going to complete the academy or risk being let go due to my conditional agreement with the fire department.
  Dr. Flood easily identified the issue causing my pain. He gave me a list of things to change including different shoes, insoles, stretching routine, and physical therapy. Combined i noticed significant relief of pain, with increased range of motion and stability. With all of the constant movement and heavy lifting I did during those nine weeks, i'm not sure i would have been able to due so with out the equipment, exercises, or treatment proscribed to me.

  Dr. Flood and his staff were very accommodating in working with my schedule to get an appointment booked. Once I was in the office, they made me feel right at home and really took the time to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it. Dr. Flood didn't just tell me what his concerns were, he explained why he was concerned and how things got that way in my situation . He made sure that I fully understood what he was telling me and recommending for me. After my appointment, Dr. Flood personally checked in to see how my treatment plan was going. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Flood and his team for anyone searching for quality foot care. Thank you to Dr. Flood and Nick for making my foot care experience as comfortable and easy as possible.
