  I started going to Bastian Salon about 5 years ago when I purchased a Groupon deal for them. The salon is located in lovely Park Ridge on a main street and has easy and free street parking. Shawn, the owner has been cutting, perming, highlighting my hair these past few years and I could not be happier with her. It is easy to make appointments; I usually text her and she responds right away. She always listens to what I would like and with her professionalism she gives me great cuts each and every time. She takes her time and does not rush me out the door. She is easy to talk to and always makes me feel comfortable. The salon is welcoming and cute. Since I started going to her I have not gone anywhere else unless I needed something done while overseas. I highly recommend her.

  This is probably the best salon I have ever been going to! (I've been going to this salon for 3 years.) Shawn is a great artist with hair. I love the way she cuts and styles my hair. And by far, she is a fantastic colorist! But aside from her great skills, she is a kind, compassionate and caring person! After flitting around for years at different salons, I finally found a place....also in the neighborhood... where I feel comfortable for very reasonable prices!

  Shawn has cut, colored and styled my hair for years now. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my waist length hair. She is amazing at what she does and my hair looks healthy. I recommend this salon 100%. Prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. My sister and niece also go to Shawn for their hair care needs as well!

  I have been a client of Shawn's for the last 15 years and I can honestly say she is the only person I trust with my hair. She is incredible! Shawn truly has a gift when it comes to hair. She is also excellent with hair styling- she did an amazing job with my hair and my bridesmaids for my wedding. Love her! Would highly recommend Shawn and Bastian Salon to anyone!

  I came in to get my hair cut and colored and it turned out magnificent. I totally recommend Shawn to anyone who is looking for the newest looking. My hair is stunning and she was very helpful in making sure I use the right shampoos and conditioners. :) Happy to have found this little gem.
