(October 21, 2018, 3:58 pm)Karl has the traits I look for in a remodeler : skilled, conscientious, honest, clean, and able to think out-of-the-box. When I shared my initial vision with him, he did what it took to make it happen and kept me informed about what he was doing each day. At my request, he also took care of several unrelated projects around the house, and each was done to my high standards. I would trust Karl and his guys with any home project!

Walls added, tub ripped out, shower expanded, barn door added, etc. He made great suggestions while still allowing us autonomy to add our own design. Fair pricing and honest quotes. Not common in the contracting world. Above all, his craftsmanship is what is most impressive.

(July 12, 2017, 12:46 pm)We found Karl and his company, ABA Remodeling by searching local bathroom remodelers in Palatine, and we are so glad we did! From the beginning Karl was always on time, and he came with ideas and suggestions based on his expertise. He also gave us a full and thorough estimate for our bathroom remodel in writing and said that it wouldn't change. He was easy to reach anytime we had questions. When the job started he gave us a time frame of about a week and 2 days. He not only finished in less than a week but did a phenomenal job. The quality of the work was impeccable and showed great attention to detail. He picked up most of the material himself, and we only had to go pick out a few things on our own. He also did a bunch of extra home repairs for us during the same time and everything not only works great but he didn't nickel and dime us for every little thing. He and his crew are reliable, hard-working and courteous, and he will be our go-to guy from now on. We are extremely happy with the results and impressed with his work ethic. We highly recommend him and his company - ABA Remodeling!

(January 29, 2017, 10:32 am)This company is great. The owner goes above and beyond what you, as a customer, hope a good GC would do. He tells you upfront what can and can't be done and finds solutions for the inevitable hiccups that come with remodeling. Estimates are fair. Estimated length of the job is as accurate as contracting can be. I would not hesitate to hire ABA again for any necessary work for my home.

(October 25, 2016, 9:52 pm)We hired Karl/ABA Remodeling for our bathroom project ( new vanity cabinets, sinks, faucets, shower, wall and floor tiles and also new exhaust fan and light fixtures).
They did everything very professionally and clean. I'm very happy with what Karl and his crew did.
I highly recommend !!!
