  The Grove of La Grange Park, Illinois, has been an uplifting and supportive experience for my Husband and I as we try to plan for my Mom's future. I would definitely vote for a redo on the public/dining area on the third floor...not comforting at all. However, what makes The Grove special are the professional and kind employees. Everyone I have encountered from Michael(Director), Megan(Social Work), Jen(Assistant Director), and all of the Super Nursing Staff have demonstrated concern, consideration, and excellent care. Alexis has answered many calls from me, and has searched till she finds the person I need to speak to....I live 850 miles away. Michael and Megan are always there for my Mom, Arden Opat. Thank you to Jasmine for Mom's fun activities! God bless you all for the excellent care you provide...Kathy Valentino (10-22-18)

  I have been in a few different rehabs in the last few years and the Grove was by far the best. I was admitted with no recommendations or anything we could go with as far as a rehab center. So I did not know what to expect. I came from an extended stay in the hospital where I was bed ridden for 2 months and brought by in an ambulance and stretcher. By the time I left Grove after 3 months I was able to walk out with only the help of a cane. My therapist Lou Chan was not only very professional, thorough and compassionate. Her personality made the therapy so fun to look forward to every day. The whole nursing staff treated me so well that I do not want to mention any by name for fear of leaving anyone out. The nursing aides are the ones who deal with you most on a daily basis and I would like to single out a few (Barbara Mata, Ce Ce Armenta & Melissa Velazquez) who were exceptional. All were very professional and treated you with dignity. Melissa was my daytime aide and treated me like like I was a member of her own family. She could not have been better.
  In closing, I want to say that my time at Grove was great and I would highly recommend this facility.
