  Best value and great service! The fish tacos are the best around. The Carne Asada is delicious and well prepared and the steak tacos are all everyone says they are. The chips are home made too! The salsa is spicy but not over bearing. The folks are friendly and make you feel right home. They also have a nice outdoor seating area, with shade trees to keep you cool on a hot summer night. Highly recommended for authentic Mexican cuisine!

  They finally did it, they got it right! As far as I could remember there were always taquerias on this location, going back years... decades? Unfortunately, nearly all of them were short-lived, typically lasting no more than 1-2 years at a time. The food was nearly identical, typically at the lower-end of greasy fast food. (This similarity suggests that this was essentially the same restaurant undergoing name changes and change of signage but with little or no change of management... YIKES!) Well, thankfully all that is neither here nor now... The new place is entirely different and the food is actually good. I mean really good! Providing a variety of tasty meats, everything is fresh, well-prepared, top quality. I enjoy eating here. My only (relatively minor) issue is with the service. Mi Restaurante is set up as a fast food establishment but tries to be a sit-down restaurant, with the cashier acting as a waitress. I just think it would be easier on all parties if we can just order and pay up front then pick up the food at the counter.
