My family and I had an extremely positive experience working with Matz. Our funeral director, Tyra, and the staff made the process as smooth and easy on us as we could've possibly hoped for. They're extremely quick to respond to questions and requests, professional, and very thorough throughout the planning process and beyond the services. They were able to encapsulate exactly what we were looking for in honoring our dad with as little responsibility and work for us as possible. Thank you again to Matz and their staff. As much as we hope to avoid needing their services, we would definitely recommend and use Matz ourselves for any future needs.

Upon entering Matz Funeral Home, we were greeted warmly by Shawn Cremer ,the Funeral Director. We had an appointment with him to discuss future arrangements for our loved one. He showed us around the funeral home and made us feel comfortable in a “not so comfortable” situation. Matz is spacious, very clean and up to date in their decorating. Our appointment lasted for longer then I expected but we never felt rushed and all of our questions were answered by Shawn. We even had a few laughs along the way! I would highly recommend them!

The funeral home is very clean, modern, bright and smelled lovely. When selecting a place for my mom, it was important to me to find a place that didn’t feel depressing and dim and Matz checked that box. Upon meeting with Tyra in person to discuss the arrangements, my family felt so comfortable and well taken care of. Tyra and her team were flexible in including specific set-ups we wanted for my moms service, and because of them we were truly able to have the celebration of my mom that we needed. I can honestly say that the funeral home experience was one of the brighter spots of that whole difficult whirlwind of a week. Matz made me feel like me and my family were truly supported. Thank you!
