(January 5, 2019, 5:57 pm)The Glendale Heights Tuffy's is absolutely fantastic!! The mechanics know their stuff and they are very friendly. I've taken my 10-year old car twice to them for "issues" -- not just simple maintenance -- and I've always come away feeling I did the right thing and these guys are "my" mechanics. I also get the impression that they are NOT out to load on unnecessary expenses, which is a feeling I do get with a lot of other places.
I wrote the above 4 years ago. Nothing has changed in 2019! I recently had a big problem with a 2004 F-150 truck: it failed the emissions test with a really obscure error. These guys were saviors -- they figured out the problem, which was definitely a challenge, and saw that it passed the test. Their mechanics are top notch and they are really nice guys to boot. -

(July 25, 2018, 11:38 pm)We trust these guys. They will truly tell if anything needs fixing or replacing. Their prices are very reasonable. I have all my cars serviced by them. One of them has passed 300K in mileage and it’s still running well.
