Now that my uncle has found sobriety, our family is slowly but surely healing from the effects of his drug addiction. Because of the 12-step program at this addiction recovery center in Wheaton, my uncle was able to conquer his alcoholism once and for all.
If it wasn't for the care and attention I received at this drug rehab center I could be dead. I was addicted to heroin, and couldn't resist the rush it gave me. I was disappointed with myself, but anytime I was upset I would just take another dose. The facility taught me how to take control with professional help, and I have now been sober for a year.
My dad was a great man, but he struggled with something everyday for years. He was an alcoholic, and he tried quitting, but he just ended up hiding it from us. Thankfully he decided to check himself into Intervention Drug Rehab in Wheaton. They helped him like no one else. He actually looked forward to go to going to the sessions… And he graduated from the program as a new person. He’s been sober for 9 months and I couldn’t be more proud of him!
I couldn't be more proud of my cousin for getting the help he needed. He was like my best friend and our family took him in when he decided to get clean. We were recommended Intervention in Wheaton for drug rehab, and he decided them give them a shot. And I think he wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for Intervention. They really put him back on track and we will be forever grateful for everything they've done for us.
I don't think I would be alive today if i didn't get help. I was struggling with a meth addiction for a long time... But thanks to this facility, I was able to get clean. I've been clean for 4 months now, but I still have a long journey ahead of me. The withdrawals and cravings are the worse, but the staff here showed me how to overcome those struggles. I can't thank this facility enough for the hope they have given me... This facility is the best place to go to get clean. If I'm able to get clean, so you can you. Recovery is the only hope for addicts.
