Adept replaced our old leaking Skylight and chimney housing (also old and leaking) for furnace vent, installed new vents on the roof for bathroom and Kitchen range hood, and enlarged soffit vents to fix poor attic ventilation.
Gerry came out and did an estimate the next day after I called. Among all the roofers we talked to, he was our favorite. He understood our concerns about each item we wanted to work on and the solutions he provided chimed in with the way we preferred to resolve the problems. His quote was not the lowest nor the highest, but had a reasonable price that we felt comfortable to pay and believed the project could be done well at. Also his quote was detailed, showing the process they were gonna perform and materials they were gonna use, as well as the price for each item. So we could decide what item we wanted do this time and easily figured out the total cost of them (The quote suggested to replace the gutter which was really old. But we decided to do it next time when replacing the roof). He and his office were responsive to my emails when I had questions about the quote. After I signed the contract, Gerry and two of his guys came out within a week. The two contractors worked the whole day and finished everything! It has been 1.5 months since then. We went through several storms. We don't see any leak so far. They did a good job!

Adept Construction replaced my roof, skylights and gutters; I'm very happy with the results. When the time came for me to replace our 20+ year old cedar shake roof with an architectural shingle roof, I conducted an exhaustive search for the right contractor. After all, the roof is one of the most important structures in the entire house. My roof had not been well maintained in the years before I purchased the house, and I wanted to make sure that whoever I hired for roof replacement would be professional and provide high quality services at a fair cost. I received over 10 quotes, with a range of over $20,000 from the lowest quote to the highest quote, but among all of the contractors I interviewed, Gerry at Adept Construction was top notch. It is no wonder that Adept is an A+ rated business with the Better Business Bureau. From the first time I met him, I had a feeling that I would go with Adept. During the initial meeting, Gerry came out and took his time walking me through roofing options and never overselling me for a roof that I did not need. I appreciated that Adepts uses CertainTeed roofing materials as well, as I had researched top architectural shingle manufacturers as part of my process. Gerry was very receptive to my questions and even came back with more information after looking more thoroughly at my roof.

Everything moved like clockwork once I signed the proposal. To be fair, his was not the lowest nor was it closer to the highest (but the bid was competitive with the lowest bids to the point where I felt comfortable paying a little more for quality work). Everything was completed in 3 days! Adept had all of the materials delivered over the weekend so that the workers could start on Monday, and they were completely done by Wednesday! Soon after the new roof went up, we were hit with a series of strong storms, but you could never tell as the new roof was whisper quiet to boot. During the storm, I noticed that I was having a gutter problem and asked Gerry if Adept could come out and take a look at it-I was gratified that he immediately responded. Many contractors would not be receptive to additional tasks once the job is done and paid for in full, but Adept and Gerry take great pride in customer service and the quality of their work, and it really shows. So, having researched close to 50 contractors and getting 10 bids, Adept won the bid and definitely justified my faith in them. The roof looks amazing, and I know that it will last for decades. I cannot recommend the Adept Construction team highly enough-if the BBB had an A+++ rating, they would likely get it!

Working with Adept was easy and provided fair pricing . Gerry took the time to explain all our projects. And scheduling was quick. The guys working on my roof were professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. They also finished the job in amazing time!

Adept also did our siding and new gutters. Gerry is super knowledgeable and delivers what he promises. I have had 2 incidences where I needed siding repair. This had nothing to do with the quality or workmanship. Both times, his guys got it done without me ever seeing them. Never a fuss. I highly recommend Gerry and Adept.
