  The atmosphere at Village is inviting, loving & accepting. Many new members say they felt accepted; a "village" in which they could feel at home. I was impressed by the early signs of a multicultural acceptance upon my first visits there. Today, it is very diverse, we learn of from one another and gather in small groups during the week where deeper relationships are built. We look forward to greeting you!

  I spent over a year looking for a good church home in the fox valley area. In September I had a friend invite me to Village Bible Church at the Aurora campus. I quickly felt like I finally found the church home I had been searching for.
  
  There were four things that stood out to me:
  
  1. Quality Biblical Teaching - Travis Fleming, the pastor, is excellent at teaching through a biblical passage by explaining the implications of the passage on our lives today and keeping things in context. He is also a passionate preacher calling his congregation to love God and live according to the truth of Scripture.
  
  2. Community - I was made to feel welcome from my very first Sunday. It really is a church family where I felt welcomed and cared for.
  
  3. Contemporary Worship - It is not a large campus, but they do a great job with their music and other components of the worship service to keep the focus on the Lord. They have two regular worship leaders, both of whom do an excellent job.
  
  4. Commitment to Outreach - Village is located in a community with a lot of diversity. They have built relationships with people of different cultural, racial, and financial backgrounds and let them know they all have a place in the church. I have never attended a church that has done this so well.

  After moving to the area, we searched about nine months for a church home. We were looking for a multicultural church with solid Biblical teaching, and Village is just that. On our first visit, we felt so welcomed and the preaching was great. We knew right away that this was our new church home. We love the way Village celebrates the many cultures represented in our church body, and we've met some wonderful friends through our small group that meets each week. Come check it out!
