I have been a patient of Dr Zimmerman and his practice for 21 years. I have referred multiple friends and family members to his practice and they have been 100% satisfied. Dr Z has delivered 4 out of my 5 children and performed surgery on me as well. He has always listened to me as a patient, and always taken the time to thoroughly and completely answer my questions (at times over and over). I usually elect to see his wonderful nurse practitioners for anything other than maternal fetal care. They are also a wealth of knowledge and take all the time necessary to make sure your needs are met. Being a patient of Dr Z's for 20 years, I anticipated his time to pass the baton was approaching. I feel the transition to Dr Moreira has been a standard with a notification by mail regarding the change. Dr Z's staff has always given me top notch care, and although I will be sad to see him go, I will happily remain with the practice.

Simply the best! He really becomes like family. Started going to Dr.Z 12 weeks into my first pregnancy. He is just so knowledgeable and his NP are amazing! Long story short our baby was about a month early— dr.z made sure we were all ok. The day we were getting discharged he was leaving for vacation... he came to see us in the morning to make sure all was good. Not many doctors do that! 2 weeks later I was hospitalized unexpectedly for blood clots because of the preeclampsia... this man came to check on me and make sure I was ok. What? Seriously who does that! Just a dr that cares about his patients! dr z will be so missed!
