Having to move both parents in their mid-90’s from their home of over 60 years was a very difficult and stressful process both emotionally and physically. The entire LBW staff from the nurses, caregivers, front desk personnel and office management could not have been nicer and more caring. They made my parents and myself feel that there was true compassion and understanding about their physical and emotional needs. My parents have both since passed and I truly miss our friends at LBW. (January 27, 2018, 5:17 pm)Nice independent/Assisted living facility in Lake Barrington. The facility is located on 9 acres +/- and has views of wetlands, pond and wooded area. The main living area for the residence is well planned out and has lots of function.
The menu, which is the most important item, was well balanced and had a variety of different items to suit everyone's taste and needs.
Only issue was the building appeared to be slightly tired looking and supposedly a complete renovation is coming this spring. -
