  Nice enough. It's really just a parking lot with access to the paved millennium trail. Bathrooms (outhouse style) by the parking lot. Since it's fully paved it's handicap accessible although there is a fairly steep hill of you head towards route 120. Almost no shade.

  I walk through here at lunch. I love that they have a bathroom and would LOVE a water fountain, but I can't complain. It is beautiful, well taken care of, peaceful & quiet.
  
  There is some wildlife and plenty of plantlife and I don't smell any chemicals being used, thankfully.

  Biked through it. Quite a pretty place. Not too many mosquitoes

  It’s a cute little walk ! I only walked a short distance of the trail, not sure if it goes into the woods or what. I usually look for real wooded areas to walk & this trail was pretty much open. Right next to the road for a majority of it

The past year has been a busy one in Lake County. We have worked hard to have greater coordination between different units of government. The Board of Health adopted their strategic plan, the Forest Preserve District is in the middle of developing their plan and Lake County has made good progress on its goals (see that update below).
