Oaken Bar + Bistro

Visited Oaken on New Years Eve, and it was a night to remember! They had a special menu, and I had the Surf N Turf - it was so delicious! The manager did an outstanding job making sure everything ran smoothly, he was even making drinks! His staff was friendly and attentive the entire night! They had live music, which was perfect! The pianist was very talented and was taking song requests. Many people were dancing and having a great time! Major kudos to the manager for putting together an amazing NYE party! We even got up and had brunch the following morning and the food was great! Thank you, Oaken, for great service, delicious food, and an unforgettable experience l

The food and service were excellent. Andrea (I think was her name) was our server. She was timely and on the ball. She also had a great personality and joked with my father. I called 20 minutes before our reservation and asked them to make sure there weren't any extra chairs at our table. I didn't give them a reason and the person on the phone didn't ask why, just said yes.

My mother passed away earlier this year from a long bout of cancer. We didn't want her absence to be more evident with an empty chair at the table. It might seem like a minor accommodation to remove chairs but to us it meant a lot. It was a somber dinner but made better by the food and service at Oaken.

The menu is exceptional. The food is delicious and presentation is lovely.

The wait staff is very attentive and respectful.
They are helpful, and describe dishes well.

Had a nice team lunch here :) Food was good. The dessert was fantastic! I love sweets and would definitely come back here just for their desserts and coffee. The banana sticky toffee pudding is great.
