(November 15, 2018, 9:49 am)We were attending the US Navy graduation and we stayed at this Holiday Inn Express. It's located about 15 minutes from the Navy base. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom size was ok, and the shower water pressure and temperature good. I didn't care for the sink being separate from the shower/toilet. The hotel has a small gym and indoor pool. They offer a breakfast with stay which is excellent. Consider renting a car because public transportation is poor and cab costs will add up fast.

Close to the Navy base, a cute little town and pretty much everything else you want to see in Chicago ( I even took a quick trip to Wisconsin for cheese)!! My favorite part was the staff- super friendly front desk and housekeeping. My room was perfect and I felt welcomed by everyone. Great location if you are coming for bootcamp graduation, visiting a sailor or just vacation. I will be back for sure!

(July 29, 2018, 9:03 pm)We booked this last minute on a Saturday night during the summer. We wanted something at a reasonable price and a decent quality. And we were happy with what we got. The host was awesome when we arrived and got us setup with a room in no time flat. The room was clean and looked great. We walked in and the room was at the perfect temperature. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had plenty of pillow. Even the free breakfast was great.
