Maricar Abril Virina MD

Dr. Maricar Virina is the Doctor I’ve been searching for years to have. I’ve always had the “Hi/Bye” type of doctors and being someone with a lot of female medical issues, it had become tiring trying to find someone to actually care or listen to me. Not only does she take the time to listen to you, but she really takes everything that you say or are going through to heart. She is caring, gentle, proactive and extremely personable. She genuinely cares about your physical AND mental health. She is truly amazing in every form and is truly the best OBGYN I’ve been to. I can’t thank her enough for not only being the person to genuinely sit down and listen to me without rushing or brushing me off, but for being a caring human being.

I think sometimes we forget that Doctors are real people just like us with their own lives as well. I believe Dr. Virina shows beautifully that she is human and she UNDERSTANDS. I truly believe she will not only help bring so many beautiful lives into the world, but she will also save many as well simply for taking mental health seriously and having empathy surrounding it. I can’t thank her enough for just sitting down and listening to me. Having empathy and understanding is all I’ve ever wanted and I finally got that. She truly is one of a kind.
