Luke's of Lake Bluff

I literally love this place, I’ve been trying everything I can and nothing disappoints me. It’s not often you find a place with such a diverse “everything” menu and everything is great

As a huge lover of Italian Beef, there has only been one true beef to me and that is the one made by Luke Del Principe. Sadly, I thought there was nowhere around the Chicago area to get Luke's true recipe anymore. Yesterday my wife and I stumbled upon this place while killing time while our son was having testing done. I immediately pulled in and ordered a beef. Right from the initial smell I could tell this was right. Man, was it ever. Brought back so many memories. My wife got the Mushroom/Swiss burger and raved about it. The only drawback is this place is close to a 2 hour drive from my house. Called my Dad and told him we need to take a mini road trip as he also brought me up on Luke's. If you are a fan of the old Del Principe style, you need to go here.

Casual and delicious. Staff was great and moved fast, we came in when it was super busy and they were just rolling through orders. Food is phenomenal, such great flavor, a nice mix of light and hearty on the menu. Absolutely would come here again.

I was so curios about this place that is why when I was not busy and I have spare time I did not waste the chance to visit it. The place is just a usual fast food place and it was clean and the staff in here is nice and friendly. I did not explore much about the place because I was literally excited to try their food. and speaking of food they have lots of selection in their menu that I had a bit hard time choosing what to order but in the end, I just settled with their skirt steak sandwich and some fries. Service is fast and it did not take long for me to have a taste with my order. The skirt steak sandwich and the fries have a nice portion and they are both hot. The skirt steak sandwich is literally full of flavor, the steak was just so delicious and I highly recommend it while the fries ins nice and crispy and well-seasoned as well. At last, I got to try this fast food and I will definitely be back!
