  It has been years since I’ve gotten to a dentist, mostly because of insurance issues and scheduling. Also, my dental and orthodontic experiences have been subpar, to put it nicely. Dr. Khan took the time to listen to my concerns and patiently explained what, if any issues came up during the exam. Most importantly, she was gentle, which is what I really cared about. I’m a new patient, but I’ve already scheduled my next appointments.

  After 2.5 years of avoiding scheduling a dentist appointment, I had no business having such a good experience. Staining I thought was permanent after my last dentist wasn't able to remove it, is gone. I went in expecting a painful process that would force me to get religion and floss 3 times a day but left with a stress-free experience and a mouth that feels amazing. Highly recommended.

  From the moment I walked in, I felt very comfortable and at home. They really care about the patient and making them comfortable. Dr. Kahn sat with me and explained everything and was so calming. Their dentist chairs are heated and even have a massager! Looking forward to my next visit!

  Update: Okay this place is amazing with kids. My 2-year-old son was laughing during his cleaning. Yep, really. He was nervous until she told him the cleaning tool sounded like a car engine. GO HERE, especially if you have kids. But go here if you don’t.
  
  Dr. Khan and her assistant/admin, Elizabeth, are warm, patient, and thorough. The office is brand new and high tech. Dr. Khan explained everything she was doing before, during, and after, which was nice. Loved that she took the time to educate me. They were both playful and loving with my toddler, who tagged along. They even gave him stickers, coloring stuff, and books to play with. Now he’s excited to go back there tomorrow for his cleaning. All in all, great experience. She has an impressive background and now nowhere else even compares. It’s great to go somewhere that can take care of the whole family, too.

  I recently switched dentists and am now with Dr Khan at Lake Bluff Family Dentistry. Great Choice! The facility is beautiful, clean, well-organized. The entire appointment from checking in, initial interview about my history, comprehensive evaluation, to cleaning were all conducted in a relaxed atmosphere and contributed to my confidence that this is now my new dentist! It has been a while since I have felt so comfortable and will never again delay scheduling that next 6-month's appointment
