The property manager, Senada, is absolutely a joy to work with. She is very helpful and easygoing, and will most always have a solution to anything that comes up. The exteriors of the buildings are beautifully kept by the maintenance crew. The interiors could use some updating but still make a fine home.
I’ve always loved the Willows of Grayslake! This is my second time residing here. The apartments are always clean and very spacious. The bedrooms are much bigger than the average apartment complex or home. The property manager on-site Senada is absolutely amazing, she is always quick to resolve any issues and make sure you are accommodated. I have not had one issue that hasn’t been resolved within 72 hours (typically 24 hour turnaround) in the two years I’ve resided in the Willows of Grayslake.
Tomorrow I’m moving out of the Willows of Grayslake after a year. I’m really going to miss it. I’m moving out for personal reasons. This has been a great place to live and I would not count it out in the future. I’m a single mom, and my daughter and I have always felt safe here.
Senada is more than you could ever ask for. She was amazing during the move in process, and even better while we lived there. She is extremely responsive, I have no idea how she can keep up with everyone, but she does. The apartments are well kept, and anytime something comes up, maintenance responds as soon as possible.
I’m sad to be leaving the Willows of Grayslake.
Only thing I would suggest, is maybe a summer picnic or something so the neighbors could get to know each other.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking.
I forgot to add. This place was much bigger than the other apartments I looked at in the same price range.
I recently moved into this complex and so far I don't have any complaints. Senada is a dream to work with very sweet, polite, and willing to go above and beyond. The one bedroom I have on the second floor is spacious and the bedroom has a wonderful walk in closet. There were some very tiny issues upon move in such as one or two loose kitchen cabinet doors and a nail under the carpet however maintenance was quick to offer to come resolve the issues I just have not had time due to my schedule. The buildings are very clean, secured, and I love the fact that this complex has cameras in almost every public area. The only downside to living in this area that I've noticed is the bugs outside. My balcony is under a large tree which seems to rain down little black ants everywhere but I have not seen any inside. I have seen a small silverfish and milipede inside but those are to be expected in this area and with the brick building layout. There are no roaches, bedbugs, or anything nasty of that sort. Oh the underground parking is also nice. I would definitely recommend living here. If anything changes I will update this review as necessary.
