The only reason we went with Glass Guru was because they could get the replacement sashes we needed. We spent over 10k and at first all went well, but we needed some warranty work and hardware replacement for a window that blew open in a storm. I specifically requested both top and bottom hardware be replaced, but they only replaced part of the hardware and now we have a problem opening the window. In addition I found a lock on another window which they had replaced and now we cannot unlock so we cannot use that window.
The typical response is it's usually due to age or something that's not their fault. You will experience arrogance and apathy if you have problems.They offered a small refund and explained that since we did no longer see eye to eye they would no longer provide service, but in there contract they are legally required to service any warranty issue.
I retired from the window business after 40 plus years and know poor customer service when I see it. Both owners Tom Sr and Tom Jr tell a good story, but practice poor business customer service. I was not harsh nor rude to them just wanted what I paid for. You can also see my review on Yelp. There are many companies out there that can do a fine job and we do not recommend Glass Guru -

(February 8, 2018, 2:31 pm)I loved working with the Glass Guru. Tom, the owner is very good and knowledgeable about windows. He is also very hands on which I like. He replaced a lot of our windows for us and he is reasonable. I highly recommend them - very professional and excellent to work with.
