  Food was great. Restaurant was charming. Server was friendly. That being said, we made the mistake of going within an hour of closing time. We got to watch the servers clean the entire place and basically close up around us. A man came in 30 minutes before closing and asked for coffee. He was told the coffee pot had already been cleaned, "since it's so close to closing time." I would recommend that they just close earlier instead of making you feel like you are in the way while they are closing. We felt like we should hurry because they were closing, (even though we finished 30 minutes prior to closing) so we didn't order the dessert we had planned to order.

  Been wanting to try this place for a while. My family finally made the trip to Fairbury IL to try this place and I can say we were all happily pleased. I love the vintage atmosphere, as the restaurant looks like it was once a bank. My SO had the brisket sandwich and he ended up taking half of it home because it was almost too much for h ???????? I really enjoyed my French onion soup. My daughter wanted to take home one of their GIANT cinnamon rolls, and I'm not kidding, the thing is about the size of my head!! Really looking forward to trying it out, and also making another trip in the future!

  One of the best offerings they have is a half sandwich and a half salad or soup for a lunch entree. Everything is served on Vintage dishes and with fresh ingredients. The Lost in Time salad is hard to explain it's so full of flavor and it was just perfect!
