(July 2, 2020, 10:50 pm)Dollar Generals are generally adorable and convenient. I appreciate that and their staff and generally friendly. Yes, I appreciate the play on words there. The reason I can't give them the fifth star is because they directly compete with local, small town stores - particularly grocery and corner convenience stores. They've been aggressively targeting rural areas. And, while I appreciate having more options and it's not Walmart, or anything other Big Box, it's still not a mom and pop country store. I'd rather shop local; but, as mentioned, I appreciate the cost and convenience.
