I've lived in Granite City my whole life but this was my 1st time eating here. GREAT food! The cheesy mashed potatoes were amazing! I will definitely be back.

We came here after mass and it wasn't very busy, but the dine in was available. My wife had chicken dumplings, twice baked potatoes & green beans. I had roast beef & twice baked potatoes. My granddaughter had the fried chicken & a roll. It was good, but the chicken was only warm not hot. My only other problem is they don't give you a receipt, so I'm unsure what I'm charged, except the total, next time I'm going to ask for a receipt. I suspicious of a place that don't give you a receipt, it has no effect on the food, just 1 of my weird quirks. If your in the area I would suggest trying this place.
The owner did contact me and told me if I want a receipt just ask, most people don't want them, so they don't waste the paper. It makes sense, so I changed it to 5 stars.
