(July 11, 2017, 11:14 pm)At Herff Auto you work directly with the guy fixing your vehicle, unlike at a dealership where you work with a "service manager" or intermediary who tells you what the mechanic said. Mike walks you through his thought process and helps you learn. There's never any question about his honesty. Oh, and he costs significantly less than a dealer but gives you a far better experience. Unless I have a vehicle that's under warranty, I will take my cars to Herff Auto for every repair.

(December 27, 2016, 9:04 am)I live a distance away but come to Mike for honest service. Fixes the car like it's his own. He let's you know what needs to be done now and what can be put off a bit. I have dropped off and picked up my car at various times of day and night and Mike is always able to accommodate. I too have used the loaner car multiple times... always n/c.

(October 18, 2015, 10:16 pm)Mike has been our mechanic for 9 years. He is very good at diagnosing the problem quickly and accurately. Vehicles are always ready when promised. Mike has competitive prices on tires. Loaner car is a big plus. Highly recommend.

(September 10, 2014, 11:04 pm)Mike is the most honest, straight forward mechanic I have ever worked with in 25 years behind the wheel. He always does his best to only fix what needs to be fixed without breaking the bank. The latest example of this was today. Two other shops quoted me over two thousand dollars to replace the transmission of my car. I took it to Mike, and as I suspected, it didn't need a new transmission. Seven hundred dollars later, I was back on the road. He did the job for one third of the other quotes! And with the loaner cars he offers it makes it easy to have the peace of mind knowing the job is getting done right at a fair price and I am not getting a raw deal. I think you can tell I am a big fan of Mike's. Take your next repair to him and you will be too. It's worth the trip.
