  There are no words to truly express the gratitude I have for the entire FirstLight McHenry team. From the moment of my first contact with Sande, I was treated with compassion for not only my mother but myself. The entire team has been amazing and truly care for the patient and the family. Sande has been able to anticipate things I didn't even know I would need. Scheduling has been very flexible with me and as my moms situation changed they picked up the slack quickly, efficiently and professionally. I would recommend this agency highly.

  Sande and her team added years to my mother's life. They provided outstanding care at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone in need of home care.

  FirstLight Homecare provided services for my elderly parents for almost 3 years. As their needs grew and became more complex, FirstLight was there to help us, every step of the way. Their caregivers were kind and compassionate, giving us excellent care. We have used agencies before, and what is unique about FirstLite is that they actually could anticipate our needs in emergency situations. They never, not even once, failed to provide the care we requested. We recently moved my parents out of state, closer to family. If only we could have brought FirstLight with us!

  I have been working with FirstLight's team and witness to not only the high level of care provided, but am also so impressed by the compassion, patience and willingness to go the extra mile with each one of their clients to always insure the highest quality of life possible. I wouldn't hesitate for one second to place my loved ones in their care and recommend them as often as I can to individuals faced with the challenge of obtaining quality home care. Great organization, great reputation, amazing owner and staff!

  The staff at FirsLight are some of the most caring, compassionate people I have ever met. They were so wonderful with my Grandfather! I had a such a sense of relief that he had help when I couldn't be there. I would highly recommend them!
