We went on a Thursday, so there was literally no one there. We ate at the picnic table and enjoyed the views. I don't know much about the lake (size, depth, etc), but it is beautiful. They even have a beach. There is camping (campers or cabins). I bet this place comes to life Friday afternoon....
A Great place to get away and enjoy nature. Great bike trails, boating and fishing. There is an area for tent, camping and RV center with water and electric hookups and showers. And a horse campground where riders can bring their horses and enjoy the horse trails. There are two marinas, a snack shack and handicap accessible fishing and boating. There is a swimming beach with lifeguards and a snack bar.
Lake Lou Yaeger is a beautiful lake. Large enough for tubing, boarding or skiing. Boating is a great way to get a water view for homes ,trails and campsites. The launches are easy to access. We had no waiting to launch or to load back up. A very nice day on the lake.
Love the lake a lot for everyone to do. Have a boat great, dont have a boat great, this lake has something for you. I always have so much fun i forget to take pictures.🤣
Great park to spend a day or a whole weekend. Has camping/rv spots and cabins. Day use picnic area with bbq pit, and pavilion. Boating in the lake or swimming at the Milnot beach which has a cool floating obstacle course. Also the Route 66 bike trail is there which is very fun! Also look for mushrooms we found probably 20 different kinds!!
