Dr Helfrich and her staff continually provide top notch care. Dr Helfrich remains on top of the latest development in her field, and brings those to her office. Everything I've purchased there has been A+ quality, and dead on correct the first time (glasses, contacts, misc product), and I have faith that if ever it were not, they'd make it right immediately. They have built some extra bits into their service structure for when insurance has been maxed out. They recognize their patients as people in the community, - not "just another patient" who walks through their door. This office is truly "small town service" with "big city professionalism & equipment". And they're NICE. The staff loves working there, and it shows. We've never had a cranky conversation with anyone in their office, over a whole lotta years!

If you are still scheduling your eye exam at discount chains, do yourself a favor and stop. Make your appointment here. The staff was prompt and attentive. The machines that test your eyes appeared state of the art and everyone was more than happy to explain to me what each machine did when I kept asking about them. Dr Helfrich was so easy to talk to and you could tell she is really dedicated to her patients. She showed me the images taken of my eyes and explained what she was seeing. Yes, I did pay more than I would’ve at the discount chains but I felt more comfortable here than I have at any eye doctors I’ve been to in the 20 years I’ve been wearing glasses.
