Electric Park is part of the proposed Village of Plainfield Riverfront Master Plan and the proposed 29-mile regional DuPage River Trail. There is an unimproved canoe/kayak launch site at this park with parking.
Looking to go fishing or canoeing? Plainfield is home to several different canoe access locations and fishing docks. Canoe access locations can be found at Eaton Preserve, Electric Park, Riverside Parkway, and Riverview. Fishing Docks can be found at Boyscout Park, Olde Renwick Park, and Van Horn Woods East.
