  Patient Doctor Collaboration Ensures Swift & Safe ACL Reconstruction Surgery & Recovery. An accident in June on a soccer field brought me face to face with Dr. Burt in July. He was recommended to me by my son's club league soccer program owner (Andreas Papakostas, Olympic Soccer Academy) and I was beyond impressed. When you look for a surgeon you want someone technical with an exquisite granular attention to detail, someone that will do some digging before rushing you down the surgical road. Dr Burt is that someone that will meet with you (for well over an hour) discuss options, and provide you with a exclusive concierge level of care. What surprised me was the degree of warmth and comfortable bedside manner that came alongside Dr. Burt's disposition. From the first exam, to surgery, to the post surgical follow up appointments, I have received nothing but high quality medical care. Dr. Burt works to meet your needs as a patient and as a person, taking into considerations the additional things you may need to help move recovery along. We discussed treatment plans, looked thru the xrays and MRI and determined that based on my needs and how I work as a person, a swift and aggressive PT plan would be in place following my ACL reconstruction surgery. He discussed the potential complications and made sure I was armed with all the right information before surgery even occurred- this included prompt Physical therapy appointments before surgery, to help aid in the recovery. If you're the type of person that tends to need time to recover, he will accommodate, or on the flip side, if you prefer a quicker recovery plan, based on what works best for you, he will work to ensure your needs are met. Two days after ACL reconstruction surgery with hamstring autograft I was in Physical Therapy. Surgery occurred in August and I am very impressed (now Dec 2016) with the recovery time line and what I have been able to accomplish, thanks to the services of Dr. Burt and his wonderful office and nursing staff.

  Went to see Dr. Burt for a ruptured ACL. During the initial exam, he thoroughly explained the injury and how the repair would be done. I was referred to Dr. Burt by a co-workers wife. Who is a physical therapist. She said Dr Burt's ACL patients recover approx. 25% quicker than her other patients. I liked him and had the surgery 2 weeks ago. Every part of the experience so far, has been very professional. Would definitely recommend.

  I was having tightness and irritation in my shoulder that was operated on in February of 2015.
  When I called Dr
  Burt's office, I was scheduled to meet with him the next week. Dr. Burt examined me. He assured me he hadn't detected new damage. He told me what I needed to do to address my problem.
  
  Dr. Burt is a gifted surgeon. I recommend him to people who might need an orthopedic surgeon.
