  Dr. Tomlin was excellent. My son’s ENT sent us to her when seeking medical advice after my son failed a hearing test for military entrance. She went above and beyond to help us understand what was happening and rushed the diagnosis to our doctor due to time sensitivity from the military. She was caring, understanding and very knowledgeable.

  I had previously gone to a place that SOLD hearing aids and the hearing test consisted of listening to the tones through ear phones in a noisy room. Dr Tomlin gave me a comprehensive hearing test in a sound proof booth. She also found a need for me to see an ENT doctor.
  
  My insurance plan will allow me to get premium aids cheaper than the other place that SOLD hearing aids. Dr Tomlin told us these were equivalent to the ones the insurance didn’t cover and recommended them. The other place steered me away from this brand and I can only conclude they wouldn’t make as much money.
  
  I will be recommending Family Hearing Care and Dr. Tomlin. I would give 10 stars, but 5 is the limit.

  Dr. Tomlin now operates this practice after Dr. Shockley retired. Dr. Tomlin has an easy-going manner and is well-versed on the latest hearing aid technologies. Although she handles all types of hearing aids, she provides great support for ReSound, especially those that connect to Apple's iPhone. During my fitting, she explained how my ReSound hearing aids work help me connect them to my iPhone. She also demonstrated the charger and smartphone app. She's earned my trust. Doctorate from Purdue if I recall correctly. Her office staff -- including Lynne -- are very friendly and supporting. The office itself has plenty of parking and access, too.
