This place is Corydon's hidden gem. A really lovely nature reserve that has some nice hiking trails through the woods. Also has wider, paved walking paths available from the lower parking area. I see people bring their dogs here all the time. I love exploring the hiking trails that go into the woods/forested area. Usually has a playground and restroom area, but I think that's currently being renovated.
This Is A Quaint small Park With A Mile Round Trip Walking area beside a river. It has an iron bridge and areas to sit. A lot of people walk and take their dogs. In Fall, it is alive with beautiful colors. It has a Christmas ride at night thru the lighted area. Vendors serve hot chocolate and various things. A very pleasant area to visit. This reserve is a quiet place to walk and enjoy nature.
I luv this park! park your vehicle near the pond and walk about, has kiddie areas closer to entrance, plenty of space for picnic, walk, fresh air, basketball, kid’s birthday party, relaxing with mother nature and photography. Nice and clean.
September 2022: love this park. nice and clean restrooms. variety of thing to do. this is a nice place.
This is a really nice park. It has a few shelters, a good playground, a stocked pond, and a beautiful paved trail along Indian creek. Everything was very well maintained and in good shape.
It might have been the gorgeous weather, but I think it’s one of the best parks for moles around.
It is a little small and seems to have just the one trail, but it’s still a great park and well worth a visit.
Enjoyed visiting the Indians Creek Trail and the Hayswood Nature Reserve. The pedestrian trail was incredibly scenic and featured an array of wildlife. The restored truss bridges were also a treat. While the trail heads in town could use better parking, this is a gem for the region and worth a visit.
