In going through all of the local florists websites, I noticed many used a nationwide company to fulfill their funeral orders. I wanted local, fresh flowers. So I went to the Greenwood Flower Market. The shop is in an old, reconditioned 1800s home...beautiful, warm and inviting. The smell of fresh flowers filled every room. I was seated at a table and given books to look through. The lady who helped me was so kind and compassionate and was mindful of my budget. She told me to find colors I wanted and to choose any casket spray, no matter what the price, and she would make one to fit my budget. The spray I feel in love with was nearly $300....more than my $200 budget. She had me pick my mom's favorite flowers and the colors. Then I was able to choose a silk cross with matching flowers for the great grand children. The total was less than my budget. The day of the funeral, I was completely surprised and thrilled...the spray was beautiful, fresh and just as large as the one in the catalog. The arrangement was stunning and the cross pillow was beautiful. I have never been more happy and satisfied with a forest before. They will have my business from here on out!!
